MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in West Liberty, KY, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected with tailored weight management solutions that suit their lifestyle and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! service, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a more independent approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist in self-guided weight management. Moreover, we recognize that some Veterans may require more intensive interventions, thus we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges. To join the MOVE! program and take a step towards a healthier future, Veterans are encouraged to speak with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for assistance.
