The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Bridgewater, MA, is dedicated to fostering healthier food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance through nutrition education, personalized counseling, and support that addresses the unique needs of families. We offer guidance on breastfeeding, access to necessary supplies, and a debit card for purchasing nutritious foods, including milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Our compassionate counselors are here to help create individualized food packages while also connecting you with additional resources, such as SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, and fuel assistance. If you receive TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you are automatically income eligible for WIC, ensuring that support is accessible for those who need it most, including foster children under five.
