Located in Dorchester, MA, The Teaching Kitchen is dedicated to empowering patients and their families with the skills to prepare nutritious meals. We offer hands-on cooking classes that emphasize healthy eating and effective use of resources from our Preventive Food Pantry. Our program features simple and cost-effective recipes tailored to meet the specific dietary needs of individuals managing weight, diabetes, heart conditions, and cancer recovery. Additionally, we provide specialized classes for pediatric patients and their families. During the COVID-19 pandemic, while in-person sessions are temporarily paused, we invite everyone to join our engaging live ZOOM cooking classes to learn and enjoy cooking together from home.
