Located in Hyde Park, MA, The Teaching Kitchen is dedicated to empowering individuals through hands-on cooking classes that promote healthy eating and nutritional awareness. We provide education on utilizing foods from the Preventive Food Pantry, offering simple and affordable recipes tailored to meet the needs of various health conditions, including those related to weight management, diabetes, cardiac rehabilitation, and cancer recovery. Our programming extends to pediatric patients and their families, fostering a welcoming environment for all. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we pivoted to host live ZOOM cooking classes, ensuring that families can continue to enjoy learning together while preparing nutritious meals. Everyone is welcome to join us on this journey to better health through cooking.
