Home Delivered Meals, part of the Montachusett Opportunity Council, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors in Leominster, MA, who face challenges in preparing meals or accessing community dining sites due to health issues or transportation barriers. Our Meals on Wheels program delivers nutritious meals designed to meet one-third of the USDA’s Daily Recommended Dietary Allowances, with options available for those on a no added salt diet. For individuals with specific medical conditions, we offer special meals upon receiving a doctor’s prescription. To support our mission, a suggested voluntary contribution of $3.00 per meal helps sustain our services, and we routinely provide easy ways for participants to contribute. We are here to ensure that every person we serve receives the nourishment they need with care and dignity.
