Located in Melrose, MA, the Obesity Pharmacotherapy Program offers a structured one-year approach to managing obesity through a combination of lifestyle changes and medication. Our program aims to help individuals not only achieve weight loss but also mitigate health issues linked to obesity, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Through initial assessments, participants undergo a metabolic rate evaluation, receive tailored dietary plans from dietitians, and learn essential mindful eating practices. Following this, a personalized care plan is crafted, featuring ongoing dietitian support, closely monitored weight loss medications, and options for behavioral or surgical interventions. We welcome patients covered by MassHealth and Medicare, and new participants start by attending an orientation for a comprehensive evaluation with our specialized team, ensuring a targeted approach to meet each individual's health objectives.
