The Food Pantry, located at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford in Reading, MA, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing hardship. We serve a diverse range of community members including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Through our emergency food services, we ensure that those in need have access to nutritious food each week. To enhance safety during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented a pre-bagging system to minimize contact. Clients can receive pre-bagged groceries outside our facilities, and we kindly ask everyone to maintain social distancing and bring reusable bags for convenience. Our mission is to offer compassionate support to those struggling, ensuring that no one faces hunger alone in Reading and its surroundings.
