Solstice House offers a specialized residential program for women navigating both substance use recovery and moderate to severe mental health challenges. Located in Reading, Massachusetts, this supportive community helps women successfully reintegrate into society through comprehensive services including individual and group counseling, case management, psychoeducation, advocacy, and HIV/AIDS prevention education. The program also connects residents with essential healthcare and housing resources. Following a social model approach, Solstice House creates an environment where women can achieve sustainable sobriety, improved mental health, and personal development. Participants work toward securing stable housing and employment while building practical skills to prevent relapse and manage ongoing mental health concerns. As part of Riverbend Incorporated (formerly Lowell House Incorporated), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Solstice House operates with funding from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, MassHealth Insurance, client fees, grants, and community fundraising efforts.
