The Ellie Fund is dedicated to providing compassionate financial assistance to breast cancer patients in Somerville, MA, and throughout the state. Our Healing Together Patient and Family Care Program, along with our Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Program, offers essential services at no cost to alleviate the burdens faced during treatment. We strive to enhance the quality of life for our patients by offering grocery assistance, transportation, light housekeeping, childcare reimbursement, nutritious prepared meals, acupuncture, and oncology massage therapy. To access our support services, an oncology professional must complete the application, which is reviewed monthly to create a tailored grant that may provide assistance for up to three months. We encourage patients and their families to reach out to social workers or resource specialists at their treatment facilities to initiate the application process and receive the support they deserve.
