The Teaching Kitchen, located in South Boston, MA, is dedicated to empowering individuals through culinary education and healthy cooking. Our mission is to provide essential nutrition guidance and hands-on cooking classes that cater to a variety of health needs, including weight management, diabetes, cardiac rehabilitation, and support for cancer survivors. By utilizing ingredients from the Preventive Food Pantry, we focus on sharing simple, cost-effective recipes that promote wellness and accessibility. Although in-person classes have been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we invite everyone to join our engaging live ZOOM cooking sessions, fostering a spirit of community and support while learning to prepare nutritious meals together.
