At Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in Stoneham, MA, we are committed to ensuring that low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old, have access to the essential nutrition they need for healthy development. Our program provides personalized nutrition counseling, breastfeeding support, and educational resources aimed at promoting lifelong healthy eating habits. Participants receive a debit card to purchase nutritious foods, including milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and fresh fruits and vegetables, tailored to meet their family's needs. In addition, we offer valuable referrals to other community services such as SNAP, housing assistance, daycare options, dental care, and fuel assistance. Eligibility is simplified for those already receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth and automatically extends to foster children under five.
