Located in Wakefield, MA, the Food Pantry at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardships. We welcome low-income families, single parents, seniors, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor to access our services. Each family can receive emergency food once a week, ensuring that everyone has access to nourishing meals. In response to the ongoing health concerns, we prioritize the safety of our clients with a pre-bagged system for food distribution, allowing us to minimize contact while still meeting the urgent nutritional needs of our community. We kindly ask clients to bring reusable bags for convenience as they pick up their pre-bagged groceries from outside, where we provide a safe and respectful service environment.
