At The Teaching Kitchen in West Roxbury, MA, we are dedicated to empowering individuals through hands-on learning in cooking healthy meals. Our mission is to provide essential skills that enable patients to make the most of the nutritious offerings from the Preventive Food Pantry. By offering simple, cost-effective recipes and disease-specific nutrition education, we focus on helping individuals manage weight, support diabetes care, enhance cardiac rehabilitation, and assist cancer survivors, alongside programming designed for pediatric patients and their families. While in-person classes are temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we invite everyone to join our engaging live ZOOM cooking classes, making healthy eating a fun and accessible family activity.
