The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is dedicated to empowering low-income families with young children and youth up to age 18 in West Springfield, MA, through essential nutrition education and skill-building. Our program focuses on providing practical knowledge in a supportive environment, where participants can engage in small group sessions led by local EFNEP educators. Families learn about nutrition, effective food shopping, and food safety, while enjoying interactive activities that include cooking demonstrations, food tastings, and fun physical exercises.
