The Church of the Unity, now known as the Unitarian Universalist Church of Winchendon (UUCW), has been a cornerstone of downtown Winchendon for over 150 years. This religious institution not only provides spiritual nourishment through weekly services but also engages the community with youth and children's programs. As the church faces the need for structural repairs highlighted by its ongoing capital campaign 'Set in Stone,' it continues to serve as a gathering place where individuals connect, worship, and participate in community life. UUCW plays a vital role in addressing local challenges, strengthening social ties, and offering a welcoming environment for all.
