The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Worcester, MA is dedicated to empowering low-income families with young children and youth up to 18 years old through comprehensive, hands-on nutrition education. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of our community by providing practical guidance on nutrition, food shopping, and food safety. Participants engage in interactive small group sessions led by community educators, where they enjoy cooking demonstrations and food tastings, while also learning to make healthier food and beverage choices. In addition to nutrition education, we incorporate fun physical activities to promote overall wellness. Together, we equip families with the knowledge and skills needed to lead healthier lives and foster lifelong healthy habits.
