At LIVESTRONG at the YMCA in Worcester, MA, we are dedicated to empowering adult cancer survivors through our comprehensive 12-week program, designed to support their journey to health and recovery. Rooted in the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, our program offers a free YMCA Family Membership, access to a variety of fitness classes, and the opportunity for participants to connect with others in a nurturing environment. Our certified instructors, trained in cancer recovery and supportive care, lead two 75-minute classes each week, focusing on improving energy levels, building strength and flexibility, and enhancing overall functional ability for daily activities. With an emphasis on developing sustainable fitness habits, we aim to help individuals not only recover but thrive as they embrace a healthier lifestyle following treatment.
