Located in Worcester, MA, YWCA Supporting Fighters, Survivors, Thrivers (YW-FiST) is dedicated to empowering women affected by reproductive cancers, including ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers. We provide essential resources and support to those undergoing treatment or in remission, aiming to enhance their wellbeing and access to quality healthcare. Our program offers educational outreach to promote breast and reproductive health awareness, emphasizing the importance of early detection and regular screenings. We facilitate access to cancer screenings at local health centers and provide virtual support groups where participants can exchange diagnosis experiences, discuss challenges, and receive valuable information on nutrition and physical wellness. Through nutrition education and community connection, we strive to uplift and support every woman's journey toward thriving.
