Welcome! I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with older adults and their family caregivers. I have a background in health care and helping women manage chronic pain and other chronic medical disorders. I teach and supervise counseling interns, as well. My primary focus for over ten years has been studying and treating the emotional and psychological effects on women, of aging, medical illnesses, and caring for others. Women often are so busy working and caring for families and friends that we can forget that we need care, too. We can find ourselves overwhelmed, anxious, in pain and wondering what happened to our life. My goal is to help you find your way back to a life that feels real, that feels like it’s your own, that feels meaningful, and that brings your enthusiasm and joy back. Together, we will examine what brought you to this point, explore options and alternatives that can improve your mood and engagement in your life, and create a plan that can pull it all together to create the life you can love. And my role will be to support, guide and motivate you every step of the way. It will be my privilege to embark on this journey with you!
