Located in Columbia, MD, Grassroots Day Resource Center is dedicated to uplifting homeless residents of Howard County by offering essential services that address both immediate and long-term needs. We provide vital food assistance through our food pantry and hot meal services, along with showers and laundry facilities to ensure personal hygiene. Our compassionate staff assists guests in navigating health care access, including help with health insurance sign-ups, and our onsite medical clinic offers critical health services. We also support members of our community through job resources, case management, and dedicated services for homeless veterans. With weekly visits from representatives of Humanim and the Health Department, we address food stamp eligibility and provide substance use disorder counseling. Guests can receive mail at our center and participate in a Pre-GED class, fostering a pathway to a brighter future.
