Located in Auburn, ME, Patches of Light is dedicated to supporting families with children who are enduring catastrophic health challenges and financial strain. Our mission is to provide essential financial assistance, including help with utilities, housing costs, gas cards, and grocery cards, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. We work exclusively through the child’s medical team to ensure confidentiality and the integrity of the application process, which takes approximately 2-3 weeks for consideration. While families are not able to apply directly, hospital staff can submit applications on their behalf. We kindly ask that any application request be followed by a confirming email to ensure that your submission is received, which helps us serve families promptly and efficiently during difficult times.
