Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB) is dedicated to improving access to fresh, local produce for low-income families in Bar Harbor, ME, through its innovative nutrition incentive program. By offering $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at our participating farmers’ markets, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farms, and farm stands, we empower shoppers to stretch their food budgets while enjoying nutritious options. The Maine Harvest Bucks can be used on the same day they are earned or saved for future visits, making it easier for families to incorporate fresh fruits and vegetables into their diets. Join us in supporting local agriculture and making healthy food accessible for everyone.
