Located in Brunswick, ME, the Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program is dedicated to empowering individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive and supportive 12-month journey. Offered free of charge in both English and Spanish, this program includes six informative e-booklets tailored to meet participants at their current stage of understanding about diabetes management. Enrollees benefit from a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources, as well as access to local community events aimed at fostering connection and support. Those who provide their phone number can participate in our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A sessions, where they can pose their diabetes-related questions to certified ADA experts, learn about the critical relationship between diabetes and heart health, and receive helpful giveaways designed to enhance their diabetes management experience.
