MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Bucksport, ME, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through a comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiative. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and guided towards effective weight management solutions tailored to their individual preferences and needs. We offer a variety of services, including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! system, which features in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is also available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after engaging with our program.
