Located in Buxton, ME, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, connecting them with personalized treatment options that align with their individual needs and preferences. The MOVE! program offers a variety of supportive services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!
