Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), operated by the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets, is dedicated to enhancing food assistance access for low-income families in Cumberland Center, ME. By providing nutrition incentives, MHB empowers SNAP/EBT users by offering $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent at participating farmers’ markets, CSA farms, and local farm stands. This initiative not only supports healthy eating but also promotes the purchase of fresh, local produce. Participants have the flexibility to use their earned Bucks on the same day or save them for future visits, ensuring that everyone can enjoy nutritious food regardless of their financial situation. Join us in supporting local agriculture and fostering community well-being through Maine Harvest Bucks.
