The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Dexter, ME, proudly serves income-eligible adults with children, particularly those participating in SNAP, WIC, or Head Start. Our mission is to empower families by providing essential nutrition and health education that enhances their ability to lead healthier lives. Participants will discover how to prepare nutritious recipes, make healthier food choices, save money while grocery shopping, ensure food safety, and incorporate more physical activity into their daily routines. Although our facilities are temporarily closed, we are fully committed to continuing our vital services through remote nutrition education classes, available both one-on-one and in small groups.
