Located in Ellsworth, ME, the Selma Schimmel Vital Grant program is dedicated to supporting individuals confronted with significant financial hardships arising from chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including cancer and Parkinson’s disease. Our mission is to provide vital utility and grocery assistance to alleviate some of the burdens faced by those in need. While our grants specifically cover either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with various organizations to connect recipients with additional resources and support. Through compassion and community, we strive to help individuals navigate these challenging times with dignity and hope.
