The Grant Program, part of the American Children's Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF), is dedicated to providing essential financial support to families in Fort Kent, ME, whose child is battling cancer, as well as to cancer survivors within four years of remission. Understanding the challenges these families face, we offer assistance for pressing needs such as housing, living expenses, utilities, food, medical treatments, prescriptions, funeral costs, transportation to medical appointments, and lodging during distant treatments. Each request for assistance is thoughtfully considered on an individual basis, taking into account the available funds and the details outlined in the Benevolence Request Application. Our commitment is to ensure that approved assistance goes directly to service providers on behalf of those in need, alleviating some of the financial burdens during these critical times.
