Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB) is dedicated to enhancing access to fresh, local produce for low-income community members in Fort Kent, ME. Operated by the Maine Federation of Farmers' Markets, this innovative program offers nutrition incentives that empower SNAP/EBT shoppers to stretch their food dollars further. For every $10 spent at participating farmers' markets, CSA farms, and farm stands, participants receive an additional $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks, which can be utilized on the same day or saved for future purchases. Our mission is to ensure that everyone can enjoy the benefits of healthy eating while supporting local agriculture.
