The American Children’s Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is dedicated to uplifting families in Freeport, ME, who are navigating the challenges of childhood cancer. Our Grant Program offers vital financial support to families whose child has been diagnosed with cancer, as well as to cancer survivors in the four years following their remission. We aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with cancer treatment and recovery by providing assistance for housing needs, living expenses, utilities, food, medical costs, prescriptions, funeral expenses, and transportation to medical facilities. Each request for assistance is reviewed individually, ensuring that support is available to those in genuine need, with payments made directly to service providers to ease the process for families at such a critical time.
