Based in Gardiner, ME, CORE is dedicated to providing critical financial assistance to families working in the restaurant industry who are facing financial challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to alleviate the burdens on food and beverage service employees with children by covering essential expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, medical bills, therapy, and more. We also support families by assisting with childcare costs and necessary supplies like diapers and formula. CORE is designed with the understanding that life’s unexpected events can create overwhelming stress, and we are here to help alleviate that pressure. Former grant recipients may reapply after 12 months for ongoing support, with a lifetime cap of $7,500 to ensure that we can assist as many families as possible.
