Community Food Pantry in Gorham, ME, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to those in need across Cumberland, North Yarmouth, Pownal, and New Gloucester. We are committed to addressing hunger by offering a diverse inventory of perishable and nonperishable food products, generously donated by local churches, organizations, and community members. Our mission is to ensure that every individual and family has access to the nutritious food they need while also providing guidance to additional support services. To access emergency food, first-time visitors can complete a simple application during our operational hours on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Fridays of the month, bringing a driver’s license or photo ID along with a utility bill for proof of residency. Each customer will receive an ID card valid for the entire calendar year, allowing them to utilize our pantry services on any open day.
