The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Greene, ME, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. Through a dynamic six-month experiential program at the Allegheny Farm, Fellows engage in hands-on training that covers organic food system education and practical applications designed to make a tangible impact. Participants work collaboratively on diverse farm projects, organize educational sessions that integrate health care innovation, and play an essential role in maintaining school and community gardens. Fellows gain valuable experience in teaching food and ecological literacy, supporting farmers markets, and developing channels that enhance access to healthy foods.
