Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), an initiative by the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets (MFFM) located in Greene, ME, is dedicated to supporting low-income shoppers by providing nutrition incentives at local farmers’ markets, CSA farms, and farm stands. Our program allows participants to receive $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at participating locations, making fresh, local produce more accessible. With Maine Harvest Bucks, participants can utilize these earned incentives immediately or save them for future purchases, ensuring that healthy food options are readily available. We invite everyone in the Greene area to take advantage of this essential food assistance program that promotes good nutrition and local agriculture.
