The Maine Senior FarmShare Program is dedicated to improving access to fresh, local produce for income-eligible seniors in Greene, ME. By connecting older adults with local farmers, we provide an invaluable opportunity to receive a share of seasonal produce, valued at $50, completely free of charge. Each year, starting in April, seniors can sign up directly with participating farmers to secure their FarmShare, although availability is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
