Located in Kennebunk, ME, Direct Assistance through The Salvation Army is dedicated to providing essential support for families and individuals facing challenges. Our services include emergency food assistance, clothing, housing support, and fuel and energy assistance, all designed to help community members in need. We offer personal hygiene kits and aid for medical needs, as well as transportation assistance to help connect individuals to vital services. For residents of Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Biddeford, Dayton, and Arundel, we provide rent assistance of up to $150, available by appointment. We are here to uplift our community with compassion and practical help that truly makes a difference.
