The Maine Senior FarmShare Program is dedicated to supporting income-eligible older adults in Lebanon, ME, by offering them the chance to receive a share of fresh, local produce valued at $50, completely free of charge from local Maine farmers during the growing season. Each year, seniors can sign up directly with participating farmers starting in April, with shares available on a first-come, first-served basis. While meeting eligibility requirements is essential, it does not guarantee a FarmShare, underscoring our commitment to providing nutritional support while fostering community connections between seniors and local agriculture.
