The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Limington, ME, offers vital nutrition and health education free of charge to income-eligible adults with children. This program is designed for those participating in programs like SNAP, WIC, or Head Start. Through engaging classes—currently available remotely or in small groups—participants learn essential skills such as cooking nutritious recipes, making healthy food choices, managing grocery budgets, ensuring food safety, and increasing physical activity.
