MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Limington, ME, through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and offered personalized treatment options that align with their individual needs and preferences. We provide a range of supportive services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that offers at-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may require further assistance after participating in MOVE!.
