About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lincoln, ME, nurtures a new generation of advocates dedicated to building a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. This innovative program offers an accessible, tuition-free educational experience centered around organic food systems. Our Fellows engage in hands-on learning at Allegheny Farm, where they cultivate diverse crops, implement community health initiatives, support local farmers markets, and develop pathways to increased access to healthy foods. Throughout the six-month experiential phase, followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to promote food and ecological literacy, sustain community gardens, and mentor future leaders. Join us in redefining food assistance and strengthening community ties by fostering a sustainable approach to our food system.
