Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), a program of the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets located in Litchfield, ME, is dedicated to promoting access to fresh, local produce for low-income shoppers by providing vital nutrition incentives at farmers' markets, CSA farms, and farm stands. Through our initiative, participants can receive $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at participating locations, enabling families to enjoy healthy food options. These Bucks can be utilized immediately or saved for future use, making it easier for members of the community to connect with nutritious foods and support local agriculture.
