The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in North Berwick, ME, provides essential nutrition and health education to income-eligible adults with children, especially those participating in SNAP, WIC, or Head Start programs. Our mission is to empower families by teaching them to cook nutritious meals, select healthy food options, save money at the grocery store, ensure food safety, and foster a more active lifestyle. In response to current health guidelines, EFNEP educators are offering remote nutrition education classes, available one-on-one or in small groups, to ensure that support is accessible during these uncertain times.
