The Maine Senior FarmShare Program, located in North Berwick, ME, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of income-eligible older adults by connecting them directly with local farmers to receive a $50 share of fresh, locally grown produce at no cost during the growing season. We recognize the importance of access to nutritious foods for seniors, which is why we facilitate this invaluable program that allows seniors to sign up each year, starting in April, with participating farmers. Please note that shares are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and while meeting eligibility requirements is essential, it does not guarantee a FarmShare. We strive to promote healthy eating and community engagement among our senior population through this meaningful initiative.
