In North Yarmouth, Maine, Financial Assistance for Families Working in the Restaurant Industry, known as CORE, is devoted to uplifting food and beverage service employees facing financial hardships due to illness or medical emergencies. Our mission is to provide critical financial assistance to support families during challenging times. Covered expenses include rent or mortgage payments, utilities, medical bills and supplies, funeral costs, and childcare necessities, such as diapers and formula. Moreover, we assist with travel and food costs associated with hospital visits and therapy. We understand the unique challenges that restaurant workers face, and we remain dedicated to offering compassionate and practical support. Please note that former grant recipients may reapply only after 12 months, and the lifetime cap for assistance is $7,500.
