At Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), located in North Yarmouth, Maine, we are dedicated to improving access to fresh and healthy local produce for low-income families. Through our innovative nutrition incentive program, we empower shoppers by providing financial assistance that allows them to stretch their food dollars further. For every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT at participating farmers' markets, CSA farms, and farm stands, participants receive an additional $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks, which can be used immediately or saved for future purchases. Our mission is to foster equity in food access, ensuring that everyone in our community has the opportunity to enjoy nutritious meals sourced from local growers.
