The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension is dedicated to empowering income-eligible adults with children in Norway, ME, through essential nutrition and health education, especially for those involved in programs like SNAP, WIC, or Head Start. Our free program offers a wealth of resources aimed at enhancing your family's well-being, including hands-on cooking classes, smart food choices to promote health, budget-friendly grocery shopping tips, food safety practices, and ways to incorporate more physical activity into daily life. While our facilities are temporarily closed to prioritize community health, our dedicated educators are equipped to provide EFNEP classes remotely, whether through one-on-one sessions or small group formats.
