Maine Harvest Bucks (MHB), a program of the Maine Federation of Farmers’ Markets, is dedicated to enhancing food security for low-income families in Oakland, ME by providing nutrition incentives at local farmers’ markets, CSA farms, and farm stands. Our initiative allows participants to earn $5 in Maine Harvest Bucks for every $10 spent using SNAP/EBT, ensuring access to fresh, local produce. These vouchers can be utilized immediately or saved for future purchases, empowering our community to make healthier choices while supporting local agriculture. Join us in creating a vibrant food landscape that nourishes both people and farms.
