The DHHS Community Care Program, part of the Office of Population Health Equity, is dedicated to helping residents of Old Orchard Beach, ME, and beyond access essential health programs, social services, and critical resources tailored to their needs. Our online referral system enables individuals facing barriers to connection to easily reach culturally and linguistically appropriate services, support for mothers and children, healthcare navigation assistance, health education, and access to food, heating, and transportation resources. We also provide vital support for stress and anxiety management, as well as COVID-19-related resources. By submitting a single referral per household, community members can be confidently matched with organizations equipped to address their specific needs, typically within 1-3 days. We understand that available resources may vary by region and program eligibility, and we are here to ensure that everyone has the support they deserve.
