The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Pittsfield, ME, is dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing financial hardship due to chronic, terminal, or rare health conditions such as cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by these individuals by providing essential utility assistance and grocery assistance, ensuring a bit of relief during difficult times. While our grant covers either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with partner organizations to connect beneficiaries with additional resources. We strive to be a source of hope and support for those in need within our community.
